Soil vacuum

Meet Nimatech's compact excavator. Attach this sand dredger to an excavator for vacuuming sand, soil or gravel when working on cables, pipes or tree roots.

Soil vacuum

The Powervac is the compact soil vacuum cleaner from Nimatech which serves as a tool for sucking up sand. You simply attach the sand vacuum to an excavator, after which you suck up soil and sand near cables, pipes and tree roots, among others. The sand dredger is ideal for work in cities with many hidden pipes and cables or along railroad tracks.

Advantages of the soil vacuum

The Powervac soil vacuum offers a lot of advantages:

  • digs faster and safer than an excavator;
  • less chance of excavation damage;
  • digs faster and safer than an sand piston;
  • less labour-intensive digging;
  • easy to operate;
  • ideal for hard-to-reach areas;
  • Available in two different sizes.

Why use a sand dredger?

A sand dredger is the ideal solution for excavation work on a site with many vulnerabilities, such as cables and pipes. Vacuuming sand is a safer, better, and faster way of digging compared to an excavator. In addition, with this perfect alternative you can easily suck away sand, soil or other material in hard-to-reach places.

A real all-rounder

The soil vacuum is a real all-purpose vacuum cleaner that not only sucks soil and sand, but also gravel, water, mud and dirt. In addition, the sand dredgeris suitable for sucking up contaminated soil and oil on the water. This makes the Powervac widely applicable and a real all-rounder.

Compact sand dredger for the crane

The operation of the Powervac suction unit can be compared to a large vacuum cleaner: it has a large fan that is hydraulically driven, to suck up the material in a storage tank. Between the storage tank and the fan is a reservoir for fine particles. The storage tank of the Powervac is available in two different sizes, 500 litres and 1000 litres.

At the bottom of the Powervac suction box there are hydraulically operated discharge valves for easy emptying of the container.
Thanks to a quick coupler, the sand dredger can be quickly connected to the crane and you can immediately start sucking sand.

Sucking sand instead of digging

Thanks to the short distance from the material to be sucked in to the blower, the Powervac excavator has enormous power! And can therefore also be used widely:

  • Replacing soil around trees.
  • Earthworks in the city with cable spaghetti.
  • Making trenches in the bottom.
  • Excavate in hard-to-reach places.
  • Ballast bed replaced on rails.
  • Dry vacuuming of road surface.

Features

No cable and pipe breakage

“Cable breakage during excavation” is a news headline you don’t want to be the cause of! By sucking soil instead of digging, you avoid major problems with all the consequences that entails. The Powervac excavator easily exposes all cables and pipes.

Emptying containers

The Powervac sand dredger has a container with a capacity of half a cubic meter. When the container is filled, it can be emptied with the hydraulically operated valves at the bottom.

Sucking soil with great force

Inside the Powervac there is a turbine that is hydraulically driven. Thanks to its powerful turbine and the short distance of the hose, it generates enough suction power to suck up gravel, stones or even bricks!

Costs of renting an excavator

The cost of renting the Powervac excavator depends on the number of rental days. The daily price is € 475 and the weekly price is € 1900.
